So today we have hit our 33 week mark. Only 7 more weeks until my due date. We had a midwife appt. last Tuesday, and everything was looking great with Sarah. She's still head down and ready to roll as our midwife put it. We also took a birthing class last week, it was such a waste of time. I thought that the class would teach us breathing techniques, but they didn't. The instructor of the class only really talked about epidurals & getting inductions because of being miserable. I'm all for women that want epidurals, but I'm not one that wants one, and I'm sure there were other women in that class that didn't want one either. We plan to have a water birth, and not use pain meds. If pain meds become necessary that I will get them, but our plan for now is no pain meds.
On another note, We are so ready for our little girl to be here. We have finished her room, and have put up her pack N play in our room. I've washed all her clothes and bedding. All her clothes are hung or folded in her dresser.
We have packed our bags, and her bag for the hospital. I'm sure some people think that it's a little early to do that, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Better safe than sorry, indeed! I know it's normal for babies to arrive anywhere between 36 and 41 weeks, so little Sarah will be here before you know it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynsey! Everyone seems to think that we've done everything super early, but I think we have done things at our own pace. Ive we hadn't started early, then we would have never had the money to get everything we needed! I can't wait for her to be here!
