*She's 26 inches long.

*She wears size 3 diapers.
*She eats like she's a big girl, she's working on stage two foods now.
*She loves peas, bananas, sweet tators and corn, and peas and brown rice the best so far.
*She is a pro at rolling over, from back to front and front to back.
*She can roll from one end of where shes playing to the other end, just to get her toys!
*She moves in circles, and I can tell crawling is going to be comming very soon.
*She had one tooth that's already cut through the skin and you can see it.
*She's in the process of cutting tooth number 2.
*She's trying to wave bye bye, and it's been so fun to watch her learn.
*She loves to play on the floor with all her toys.

I'm starting to plan her 1st birthday. I'm so excited for it!

Well I guess that's Sarah's 6 month update!

5 Months.

Things about Sarah:

*She weighs 17 pounds & 2 ounces.
*She's 25 3/4 inches long.
*She wears size 2 diapers.
*She wears some 3-6 months clothes, most of her outfits are 6 months, but all her sleepers are 9 months (she's a super long girl).
*She takes her naps in her crib now!

Sarah has become a pro at rolling over, she rolls all over the place now!

We aren't swaddling Sarah anymore, because after you lay her in her crib, she rolls over to her tummy to sleep! She loves to sleep on her tummy with her hiney up in the air.

We celebrated Sarah's 1st 4th of July right after she turned 4 months old. She had an awesome time at the parade & even got her picture in our local paper!

She's started the teeth cutting process, and boy is this going to be a LONG road!

We got her a high chair a few days ago & she enjoys hanging out in it playing with her toys.

As of now, She's eating bananas. We are going through the fruits 1st and then we will move on to veggies!

I'm still working on planning her 1st birthday party, which will be here before I know it. I am still unsure where the last 5 months have gone. It seems like just yesterday I was in labor with her!

4 months have passed...

Things about Sarah:

*She weighs 13 pounds 14 ounces
*She's wearing mostly 3-6 months clothes
*She's still wearing size 1 diapers
*She loves to play on the floor

Well, She finally did it! Sarah rolled over for the first time on Father's day. What a nice first father's day gift to Kyle, except he was working and didn't get to see her do it! :(

Since she's rolled over, we are not swaddling her arms anymore, for her safety. She still gets the rest of her body swaddled.

Sarah met her big cousin Jackson for the first time a few weeks ago. Since Jackson lives in Maryland, he had not met Sarah yet. They were both very excited to meet each other. Sarah loved watching Jackson run around!

We took Sarah swiming for the first time this past weekend. She loved to splash in the water!

I've started planing her 1st birthday, which is only 8 months away. Gosh I can't believe that! Pintrest has become my best friend in this planning process! I'm so excited to see how that turns out!

I think that about tells how sarah's 4th month has gone!

Sarah Clarke is 3 Months old!

Holy COW! Sarah's 3 months old! How did that happen?!

Some things about Sarah:
~ She weighs 13 pounds 12.5 ounces
~ She wears size 1 diapers
~ She wears 0-3 and 3 month clothes
~ She wears 3-6 month sleepers, because she is so long
~ She loves her bouncy seat
~ She's still swaddled at night
~ She's a big talker!

Sarah is finally over the stinkin' thrush she had for almost 4 in a half weeks! The dr. finally prescribed diflucan (I'm not sure that's spelled right), and it cleared it up with in a few days!

She had a her first ER visit (that's a whole different post!), but thank the Lord everything turned out just fine! I do agree that Children's Health care is an awesome hospital for children though! They were so great to us!

Sarah went on her first over night "vacation" to Abbeville, SC to see family! She did really good on the car ride, it was about 4 hours long. We did end up on a back road highway changing a blow out poopy diaper, but other than that everything was peachy! All of my family in SC enjoyed seeing her, and just couldn't get over how big she had gotten!

She can lay on her tummy now and hold her head completely up! It's amazing how fast she is growing up. She can hold toys in her hand, take her pappy out of her mouth and put her thumb in and even put pappy back in.

She sits up against the couch or her boppy by her self. She can also sit in her Bumbo.

Sarah got her first try of sweet potatoes a few days back, she did pretty good with them, but we have decided to give her a little bit more time and try again. She gets cereal in EVERY bottle now, due to her acid reflux.

Well, I guess that about sums it up for Sarah's 3 months update! :)

Sarah's First ER Trip.

Well on Monday, May 21st, Sarah had her first trip to the ER.

Around 5 pm, I was changing her diaper, and noticed that Sarah had a rash all over her face, arms and tummy, and she felt really hot. I took her temperature and it was 99.2, so Kyle and I decided that we needed to call her pediatrician. Of course, nothing happens during regular office house, EVER. When I called the office, I got the answering service, who told me someone would call me back. The children's health care nurse called me back, and asked about the rash & slight fever. I told her the rash was on Sarah's face arms and tummy, and had now moved to her hands. The nurse told me that she thought I needed to take Sarah to the ER because rashes at her age could be very bad. After I spoke with the nurse, Sarah's pedi doctor called back also, who also believed that I needed to take her to the hospital. So off we go to Children's Health care of Atlanta- Scottish Rite. We got there and got checked in. We only waited about an hour before we were seen. We saw the NP, Julie who was awesome. She answered all of our questions, and addressed all of our concerns.  She told us that it was possibly hand foot and mouth disease, that if the rash & her temp got worse that was probably what it was. If the rash got better over night and her temp was gone, then it was probably a reaction to something that got on her skin, like perfume, something from outside, anything really. We were in and out of Children's Health care in about 2 hours time, and got awesome care for Sarah.
I prayed the whole night that nothing would come of the rash, and that it would be gone come the next morning. When we got up the next morning, it was only on her face, which was awesome. It's slowly gone away over the past couple of days. Her temperature is gone too! I'm so happy that nothing was bad wrong with her!!

I will post her 3 month update in about a week. :)

2 Months.

Wow, Time has flown. I was always told once you had children time would pass by fast, and boy does it!

Sarah will be two months old tomorrow. We saw Dr. Carter about a week and half ago for her two month appt, she got her shots & Dr. Carter said she was doing great. She weighed 10 pounds and 12 ounces (52%), her length was 23 1/4 (75%), and her head circumference was 38 1/2 (73%). I think we are going to have tall girl on our hands! She's getting bigger by the day, I can't believe it's been two months!

She's on a pretty decent schedule now. She still goes to be around 9pm, and is usually up between 7-8am. When she wakes up in the morning, she starts giggling and smiling, it is so wonderful to see her smile, it makes you forget anything bad in the world.

The last few weeks have been rough, she's been going through a growth spurt, and hasn't been sleeping that well. She's also had thrush for about 3 weeks now, she's had two rounds of nystatin to clear it up and it still isn't gone. We are now going to try gentian violet and see if that will work. I'm so ready for it to be gone, and I know she doesn't like it very much either!

We have been doing tummy time, and she's getting better at holding her head up. She's constantly giggling and smiling. I just love to hear her coo!

Sarah's Likes:
-Swaddling
-Her bouncy
-Her swing

Sarah's dislikes:
-Tummy time
-Being alone
-Wet diapers or clothes
